Fall head over heels for this season’s fun and fabulous fall boots!
With fall here and winter approaching, this is one category of the fall season’s collections that draws us all. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love boots, and this season, there are some truly glorious options to be had—and I’m happily going to share them with you. Ladies, hold onto your hats!
You’ll see magnificent boots that, if you’re anything like me, will make your heart beat faster. Think pointed toes, tall boots, lug-sole boots, Western-style boots, and more. Pointed-toe ankle boots are especially hot this season—and, as you know, they are always my favorite.
Before we get to the shopping, I want to let you know that you may see the same boot and color more than once. Demand is off the charts, so one retailer may have certain sizes while another has the rest. I wanted to represent as many available sizes as possible and give you the best chance of finding the boots you love—hence the duplicates.
So, without further ado, let’s get to it!
Tall Boots
What a fun group! Tall boots are a huge trend this season, and gorgeous is the word I’d use to describe every one of them. You’ll see knee-high styles, plenty of pointed toes, a couple of over-the-knee options, and a few that hit mid-calf. All are fabulous and will be incredible additions to your wardrobe!
These boots are stunning with leggings, skinny jeans, skirts, and dresses—and they possess that serious WOW factor.
I know you’ll love them as much as I do!
Western-Style Boots
This is a hot trend I’m seeing everywhere! With that in mind, be sure to click the link here to visit our recent blog devoted entirely to Western-style boots. You’ll see pointed-toe Chelsea boots with Western-inspired heels, along with their taller counterparts. All are off-the-charts fabulous and pop every look you pair them with.
Lug-Sole & Winter-Wear Boots
These comfy, chunky, ever-so-useful boots are edgy and fun—and they really do change everything up. Relaxed is the name of the game here, not to mention chic and cozy. I’ve included everything from knock-around casual styles to seriously cozy winter options for both the city and the mountains.
My favorite way to wear this style of boot is with wide-leg or flare-leg jeans and cargo pants. You’ll also see a few mid-calf versions that work beautifully with skinny jeans, leggings, skirts, and dresses—more edgy ways to wear these fabulous casual boots!
Ankle Boots
This pants-only boot is the most useful of them all. Lest you misunderstand, I have every style of boot featured in this post represented in my closet—however, most of mine are ankle boots.
When it comes to ankle boots, you always—and I do mean always—want to choose a pointed toe. Why? It gives the illusion of lengthening and slenderizing your leg, and it even makes you look taller. Pointed toes are also timeless and add a serious WOW factor to your look!
And now it’s time for my ankle-boot PSA: This style should only be worn with full-length pants. Pairing ankle boots with cropped pants, skirts, dresses, or shorts is a colossal style mistake I see daily. It is profoundly unflattering because it disrupts the flow of your look and visually shortens your legs. In essence, it does the exact opposite of lengthening and slenderizing.
All that aside, these adorable pointed-toe ankle boots are timeless treasures you will love and wear for years.
Summing it all up…
Boots are a huge part of what we love most about the rich, luxe look of fall dressing. They complete—and pop—every look, and they can completely change the feeling of what you’re wearing while serving you beautifully for years.
The wide array of boots included in this post takes you from the quiet luxury of polished dressing to fun, edgy casual style—and all of them have a place in your fall and winter wardrobe. Happy hunting!
