Consider this week’s post a preview of our favorite Fall trends for the season. In it, we will share an overview of those favorites, with a few helpful details sprinkled throughout. And I want to share that I believe this fall’s trends are off the charts in terms of chic wearability!
This week’s shopping only showcases a few pieces from each trend, but in the following weeks, we’ll expound upon them by sharing more as the season continues to unfold. And because it’s Fall, you know they’ll be delicious! This will be such a fun journey of treasures from which to choose your new Fall looks.
The trends we’ll be seeing are all over the board, so as usual, I have gone through and selected timeless keepers that will serve you well—along with some fun and edgy pieces. There’s so much to love!
THE TRENDS
I am absolutely in love with this fall’s trends! They span a wide range of styles and colors, which makes the season so much fun. As you explore what we’re sharing, you’ll see how just a few special pieces can make your fall wardrobe pop when paired with what you already own. To me, this season is the perfect mix of quiet luxury investments and pure fashion fun. Read on to see what fall 2025 is all about!
This fall season is often described as a balance between boldness and refinement, which I translate to timeless meets edgy. If you know me, you know I always lean toward timeless. Still, the edginess we’re seeing now adds depth, breadth, and a spark of interest to your wardrobe. Trend lists vary depending on who you ask, but I’ve curated what I believe is truly worthy and will help you create the kind of chic I always encourage. And the number-one trend this season isn’t really an item at all—it’s a philosophy: quality and longevity. This is a principle I live by, and one I know will serve you endlessly. So ladies, embrace it—it’s the smartest investment you can make.
This fall, we’ll be seeing luxe fabrications in soft textures, including brushed wools and knits, offering comfort and warmth.
The color palette ranges from rich earth tones to chocolate brown—hailed as the “new black,” though really, ladies, can anything ever replace the chic splendor of true black? You’ll also see deep burgundy in the mix, balanced by softer notes of pale blue and pale pink. I believe those are the most noteworthy colors to consider.
You’ll want to note menswear-inspired prints, such as plaid and herringbones, that will add great depth to the season.
When it comes to outerwear, look for scarf- and fringe-trimmed scarf jackets, as well as capes and statement coats in longer lengths.
You’ll see leather in many forms this season, along with plenty of suede. Think jackets and skirts in particular.
Sheer blouses are still here, and for the fall-winter season, they pair beautifully with drapey wool trousers, and are perfect for evening.
Wide-leg jeans are still the ticket, and wide-leg trousers will be everywhere as well, per the menswear influence.
When it comes to handbags, the standout trend this season is the slouchy bag. Relaxed yet chic, it’s the perfect balance of ease and sophistication
And finally, shoes! Western-inspired boots are still going strong, while knee-high and thigh-high styles remain key players this season. You’ll also see chunky boots, clogs, loafers, and slim retro sneakers—each adding just the right touch of edge to your look. And suede (my personal favorite) for boots and clogs, is everywhere this fall.
