It’s that time of year, and sales are beginning everywhere!
If you are like me—and most of the world—you have not done much shopping this last year. And now we’re all in search of those adorable, fresh pieces that will make us feel…new! You may be asking yourself, “what do I even put on this season?” Well, stay tuned because we’ve found some incredible (and versatile) additions that will spruce up your wardrobe, get you loads of mileage, and make you feel like a million dollars. Better yet, these show-stoppingly chic treasures will also work well with what you already own.
Those of you who know me well, know I am a huge fan of what I call “value.”
Value to me is discovering fabulous finds at a fabulous markdown price. With that in mind, I believe this is the perfect time to jump on the sales we’re seeing.
This Year’s Sales are a Little Different…
Normally this is the perfect time to find those treasures you have had your eye on and have just done nothing about. But where do we find ourselves this year? As we’ve mentioned above, we’re just emerging from a year where most of us have done very little shopping, and that dynamic is affecting so much in the fashion world.
This season, due to the continuation of our strange circumstances, the designers and the retailers are approaching sale in an unprecedented way. Sales have begun, that is for sure, and you will see a few of the incredible treasures that are out there. Having said that, many of the designers, especially the Europeans, are holding off. The good news is you can space out your shopping. In fact, a number of the designers we love so much will hold off on sale until the end of June or even early- to mid-July.
This means that there will be a lot of fall and winter pieces on sale, and I encourage you to take advantage of the sweaters, coats, jackets, and boots you will be seeing. This will not only provide you value in your shopping, but you’ll be ready to go next fall! Acting on this opportunity will be an investment in your timeless wardrobe, so keep that in mind too.
In addition, there are some yummy spring and summer pieces that you will want to own for now, with more coming later.
