This spring is going to be so much fun, bringing a fresh wave of trends to explore!
As always, some won’t make my list of recommendations, but there are plenty that I know you’ll love just as much as I do. So get ready for a season of style adventure!
Spring 2025 will include the timeless, along with some interesting twists. Naturally, I am focusing on what I believe will be stunning on you and add to your level of chic; from that perspective, it is going to be an amazing season.
Following are some trending pieces you’ll absolutely want to add to your wardrobe and be in the know about…
Spring Colors
This will come as no surprise—white is everywhere this spring, with an emphasis on dresses. And while we’re on the topic of color, look for pistachio green, petal pink, shades of yellow, airy blue, and varying shades of brown.
Nautical Stripes
This is another trend that will be everywhere. Just think of all the fun looks you can create by combining striped pieces with what is already in your closet!
These stripes pair effortlessly with khakis or jeans, or you can wear them as pants or shorts with a classic white tee or a crisp white short-sleeved shirt. Keep an eye out for unexpected stripe and preppy look pairings. And while you’re at it, don’t miss the sailor-inspired wide-leg pants making waves this season!
70s Inspired Looks
Looks inspired by the 70s are going to bring a lot of fun to the season. Think Bohemian! This trend is easy to wear and really packs a chic and stylish punch that takes little effort to accomplish. And maybe best of all, you will already have a lot in your closet with which you can combine a little something new to create a fabulous new look—and off you go! Think bootcut, flare-leg, or even your wide-leg jeans and platform sandals for starters.
Here, you’ll see all things 70s, including clogs, platforms, and some fringed pieces that I would relegate to bags (if anything) and then to your “play” pieces only.
Trenches
These wardrobe essentials are a big deal this spring, although I would pass on the trendy oversized looks and stick with the timeless silhouettes along with trench jackets.
Wide-Leg Jeans
Wide-leg jeans are having a major moment, and while the spotlight is on ultra-wide styles, I recommend opting for a version that feels both edgy and timeless—and yet not quite so wide that they are still easy to wear and effortlessly chic.
Shoes for Spring
This season, look for pointed toes, retro sneakers, loafers, clogs, interesting espadrilles, and delicate strappy sandals (both flat and heeled).
Bags for Spring
In bags, you will see lots of suede and lots of oversized totes along with East/West bags—a silhouette of which I am a huge fan!
Athleisure Wear
Lastly, athletic leisurewear (or athleisure wear), a style we often gravitate toward for everyday dressing, is back this spring.
We all “get it” about what and how to wear this look, so it is simply a matter of figuring out what spectacular piece you can add to your existing athleisure wardrobe. And bear in mind that this season’s focus is elevated athleisure

I love these trends, and I love the fact that there’s a lot of potential for combining them so that you’re adopting more than one trend by combining just a few pieces. This makes for a chic and tremendously versatile wardrobe with a few fresh and exciting twists.
