The chill of winter brings with it some seriously yummy and luxurious looks in the way of winter play clothes.
This part of my winter wardrobe is by far my favorite. Not only is this my favorite time of year to dress, but this is my favorite style of dress. I love pairing gorgeous sweaters with fabulous jackets and boots for glorious, luxe looks, and I savor the opportunity to dress this way as I so love the richness of the fabrics and color palettes.

Having said all that, another aspect I love is the simplicity of these luxe winter looks. It’s so easy to get dressed and hit that high note of really feeling put together—whether I’m out meeting friends or just knocking around.

In the denim category, I’ve included wide-leg, bootcut, and skinny jeans. As you peruse them, my intention is for you to pair the skinny jeans with tall boots—so you’re essentially wearing them as leggings. I see the wide-leg jeans paired with chunky boots and the bootcut jeans with pointed-toe kitten or stiletto-heeled boots.
Choosing your denim and boot look is the most challenging part of pulling your look together. All the sweaters and jackets I’ve shopped (which are all fabulous, by the way) will pair flawlessly with any of the jeans/boots combinations you choose. How’s that for simple?
The luxe of the sweaters is obvious—and the jackets are equally stunning and range from shearlings and peacoats to puffers. Any combination you put together will garner you endless compliments.
