Who doesn’t love finding chic treasures and perfect pieces at the perfect price? I know I always love a good value!
For those of you who know me, you know that I believe in quality when it comes to the essential pieces you need in order to dress to impress for business, cocktail, formal events, etc. At the same time, I believe in inexpensive, “disposable” pieces when it comes to casual wear, with this one caveat; what you’re wearing can BE cheap, but it can never LOOK cheap!
You might be surprised at all the glorious and inexpensive treasures to be found at very low prices—if you know where to look. If all designer is in your budget—fabulous! But as I am a huge believer in fiscal responsibility, when you are on a budget you need to look for and acquire your glorious investment pieces at a value and buy the rest of your chic looking “play” clothes at a bargain. It’s the only way to go.
For instance, rather than paying full price for your designer or designer look jeans, you’re definitely going to want to hit the discounters as they are a treasure trove of designer jeans at much reduced prices. One of my favorite jeans ever is a pair of Fiorucci’s that I found at Target. I also found a fabulous pair of black skinny crop that I love and got from H&M for $9.95. And I mustn’t leave out my, Citizens of Humanity from Saks Off 5th. I wear them so often I practically live in them!
I have always been a fan of finding value and so it’ll come as no great surprise that the discounters have always been a favorite home for me!
